World Champion of Eventing by Bruce Davidson

USED - Good Used Condition

Here is Bruce Davidson's own story, which captures the thrills and color of the most exciting and demanding of all horse sports - Three-Day Eventing. Bruce speaks frankly about his early struggles, and about the hard-fought changes that have put the U.S. Three-Day Team on the map in international competition. Now we learn about the revolution brought about by the French rider and trainer Jack Le Goff when he took over as coach. Here are inside stories of our wins at Burghley in 1974, at the Olympics in 1976, and in Kentucky in 1978. We ride with Davidson as he wins his first World Championship at Burghley and defends it successfully in 1978. Horsemen will welcome his clarification of interval training and his explanation of applying it to the individual horse.
