Our Approach

All consigned items are sold as-is. We do our best to describe every saddle and piece of tack honestly—condition, wear, quirks, the whole picture.

We're passionate and experienced, but we're not certified saddle fitters and don't offer fittings.

If you're local and want to trial a saddle before committing, we can arrange that (full deposit required, no shipping involved). We always recommend bringing in a certified fitter whenever possible—they'll catch things we can't.

At the end of the day, we're just tack nerds who genuinely love this stuff and want to help you find what works.

English, Western, and everything in between

What we consign

What We Accept

We take name-brand saddles and clean, well-maintained tack—think bits, reins, girths, cinches, and saddle pads that look like new. We also consign equestrian clothing like breeches, show jackets, jeans, western wear, riding boots, and cowboy boots. Select halters make the cut too.

Every item gets looked at individually, so if you're not sure whether something qualifies, bring it in and we'll let you know.

What's always in demand

Some things fly off the shelves—footwear (both English and Western), Western tack, Western spurs, kids' riding apparel, and bits. If you've got any of these gathering dust, bring them in. They tend to sell fast, which means quicker payouts for you.

What we don't accept

We can't take helmets, safety vests, dirty blankets, buckets, stable supplies, grooming tools, brushes, or whips. We also won't consign anything that's unsafe, damaged, ripped, excessively worn, or dirty. If you're on the fence about whether something's too worn, feel free to ask—we'd rather answer questions up front than have you make the trip for nothing.

A note on tack lifespan & current styles

Tack doesn't last forever, and some things have just aged out of what we can safely sell or what riders are looking for. We won't take girths without roller buckles, English tall boots without zippers, wool show jackets, leather that's too dry or cracked, or anything else that's past its useful life—even if it's technically still in one piece. Safety comes first, and styles do change. We'd rather pass on an item than put something outdated or questionable on the floor.

Not sure if yours still has some miles left? Bring it in and we'll take a look.

What to expect when consigning

Must be clean upon arrival

Please bring items clean and ready to sell.

We get it—barn life is messy. But items need to arrive clean so we can get them on the floor quickly.

If something shows up needing a scrub, we'll clean it for you and add the fee to our commission:

  • Saddles: $30 minimum
  • Other tack: $10

Fair warning: if an item's really caked in mud or grime, we might not be able to take it. Save us both the trip and give it a quick wipe-down before you head over.

Consignment Period

Your items stay on the floor for at least 30 days, up to 6 months—or until they sell, whichever comes first.

If you need to pick something up before the 30 days are up, there's a $25 listing fee (covers our time getting it prepped and posted).

Got something that needs more time? Some items qualify for extensions—just shoot us an email and we'll figure it out.

Payouts & Payments

We've streamlined how consignment works. Now, when your item sells, the payout is automatically applied as store credit right away—no waiting around.

If you'd rather have cash, just let us know when you drop off your consignment. We'll send payouts once your balance hits $150. Email transfers come with a $2 transaction fee, and you've got 30 days to accept them.

Everything's priced and paid out in Canadian dollars.

Consignor Responsibility & Liability

Make sure we've got your current phone and email—we'll need to reach you when items sell or if anything comes up. Just so you know, items are left at your own risk. We take good care of everything and use reasonable safeguards when handling and displaying your stuff, but we can't be held responsible for theft, fire, or accidental damage. It's rare, but things happen.

Item Pick-Up Policy

Give us a call or email 24 hours before you plan to pick up your items, then swing by within 14 days. If items aren't collected after that two-week window, they become ours to donate or handle as needed—we just don't have the space to store things long-term.
