At the heart of Evolution Equestrian is Samantha — lifelong tack nerd, previous certified riding instructor, and passionate advocate for horses and their humans. With an insatiable love of learning and a deep curiosity about every corner of the horse world, Samantha has spent her life immersed in equestrian culture — from childhood pony rides to hunter/jumper shows, from retail management to launching her own storefront.

Many in the Comox Valley know Samantha from her years managing another local tack store (2015–2021). When the time came to take the reins and build something of her own, Evolution Equestrian was born. First online, and now in-store at 5352 C North Island Hwy, Courtenay, it’s a space where community, knowledge, and great tack come together — no pressure, just honest service and a shared love of the horse.
