Haas Wurzelkardaetsche Root Brush
Hurry up, only 3 items left in stock.
The brush you grab when your horse comes in wearing half the paddock.
The Haas Wurzelkardätsche (you’ll also see it called the Wurzel Brush) is a stiff rice root dandy brush made for the tough jobs. Its dense 3 cm bristles get into the coat and break up dried mud, caked-on dirt and dust that softer brushes just slide over. It’s a great first brush after the curry, especially during mud season or when your horse has had a good roll.
Haas calls this their ladies’ size, which really just means it’s made for smaller hands. If you’ve ever had a big dandy brush slip out of your grip halfway down a muddy leg, you’ll appreciate the difference. The tear-resistant hand strap keeps it secure, so you can put some effort into scrubbing without having to hold on tight.
Like other Haas brushes, it’s built to last. The bristles are set directly into a waterproof, shatter-resistant resin body without glue, so they stay put and the brush holds up to daily barn use. You can rinse it off when it gets muddy, too.
