Shires Hunter Dee with Brass Peanut Snaffle

Shires Hunter Dee Bit with Brass Peanut

The Shires Hunter Dee Bit with Brass Peanut is designed to promote comfort, relaxation, and clear communication between horse and rider. The gently curved mouthpiece helps reduce pressure on the roof of the horse’s mouth, creating a more comfortable fit that encourages a softer response to the reins.

At the center, the brass peanut link helps stimulate salivation, encouraging the horse to stay relaxed and responsive in the contact. The double-jointed design also helps distribute pressure more evenly across the tongue and bars while minimizing the traditional nutcracker action found in single-jointed bits.

The Hunter Dee cheek pieces provide additional stability and mild lateral guidance, helping keep the bit steady in the horse’s mouth and assisting with clearer turning aids—making it a reliable choice for schooling or hunter disciplines.
