Passier is a German saddlery brand, and their saddle soap is made with a very low amount of solvent. That means it cleans away sweat, grime and dirt without being harsh on your leather or stripping out its natural oils. It also helps reduce colour loss, so darker tack keeps its rich colour wash after wash.
It’s safe for all kinds of leather, from your saddle and bridle to girths, boots and halters. It comes in a 200 ml tin with a sponge, so you can start cleaning tack as soon as you get to the barn.

How to use:
- Wipe the leather down with a damp sponge and warm water to remove surface dirt and sweat
- Wet the sponge lightly, squeeze it out well, and work up a lather on the soap
- Clean the leather in small circles, paying extra attention to the flaps, billets and anywhere your horse sweats
- Wipe off any extra lather and let the leather dry naturally, away from heaters
- Follow with a leather conditioner if your tack feels dry
