Effol WhiteStar Dry Shampoo is a spray-on spot cleaner for grey and light-coloured horses and white markings. It’s made to lift yellow manure stains, urine stains and grass stains without a full bath. That makes it a lifesaver when it’s too cold to wash, the wash rack is busy, or you have ten minutes before your class.

Spray it on, work it in, and wipe it off. You don’t need to rinse it out, so you won’t end up with a soaking wet horse in November. It also keeps the coat’s natural feel and doesn’t leave the hair slippery, so it’s safe to use under the saddle area before a ride.

The formula is pH-neutral and doesn’t contain whiteners or peroxide. It cleans the stain instead of bleaching it, which makes it gentle enough for regular touch-ups.

How to use:

• Spray generously onto the stain. For tough spots, dampen the area a little first.
• Work it into the coat with your hands, a curry or a sponge
• Wipe away the dirt with a damp towel or sponge (the Effol SuperCare Towel or Wonder Sponge work well)
• Repeat on stubborn stains if needed
