Custom Painting: Watchful
Hurry up, only 1 item left in stock.
Watchful is an original horse painting by local artist Carol McEachen. Two horses are out in a summer field by the water. The bay has his head down grazing, and the buckskin has his head up, keeping watch so his buddy can eat in peace. Anyone who’s spent time around a herd knows that look, there’s always one keeping an eye on things.
The tall grass in the front is painted in loose, layered strokes of green and gold, with a pond reflecting the blue sky and trees in the background. It’s calm and settled, that easy part of the afternoon when everyone’s turned out and content.
It’s a beautiful piece of horse wall art for a living room, tack room or barn office, and a great gift for any horse lover. This is an original, not a print, so there’s only one. Come see it in person if you can.
