The Emma is compact enough to not feel like you're hauling a hiking pack through your Tuesday, but organised enough to replace a handbag for most days. At 24 x 29 x 9 cm and 600 grams empty, it sits close to the back and doesn't throw your balance off the way bulkier leather bags can.

The layout covers a full day's worth of carrying. The main compartment has three internal zip pockets and two A5 document sections - enough structure to keep a notebook, charger, and a few essentials from becoming a jumble. There's a dedicated smartphone compartment so your phone isn't competing with everything else for space. Two zip pockets on the front handle the things you're grabbing constantly, and a zip pocket on the back sits flat against your body for anything you'd rather keep out of reach of passing hands.

The shoulder straps are leather and can be separated with a zip if you need to adjust how the bag sits or switch to single-shoulder carry.

It's made from Wax Pull-Up leather - soft from day one, and the wax treatment means light scuffs and marks rub out rather than set in. Real leather shows wear differently than a synthetic - it develops character rather than just looking used.

No two Emmas come out identical. Natural hide means slight colour variation and texture differences from bag to bag, which is part of what you're getting with full-grain leather.
