Arika Shower-Tek Fly Rug

Neck piece is oversized though

Everyone needs to have one of these blankets. They fit very well and work so well with the pacific northwest weather changes. Evolution was also a pleasure to deal with.

This versatile rug works well in the changeable spring weather. The 45° angled T-bar front closure distributes pressure to prevent rubbing on the point of shoulder and across the chest, and allows for comfortable shoulder movement. There is a sturdy velcro double closure in the front as well, built into the front closure area. The waterproof top panel is designed to be in all the right places for rain run off, vs drenching the fly mesh areas. The rug fits snuggly around the neck in order to keep rain out when using the rug alone, without the neck piece. Three surcingles under the belly enable the extended, shaped mesh material to give good belly coverage from flies. A two-part skirt at the hem of the rug creates a break in the hemline for unrestricted movement in the stable paddock and pasture turnout. This rug has the best appointments and protection from both rain and flies, particularly at this price point. I have put it into immediate use this Spring, and it should be equally as useful in the Fall!

Sam had my order packaged up and shipped out quickly. Wesley has big shoulders and the Arika Shower-Tek Fly Rug gives him lots of room through his shoulders and doesn't rub. I'm super happy with it and would definitely by more Le Mieux rugs in the future.
