These Sport Reins are 10 feet long and made of 12 braided strands of parachute cord, this material is soft, yet provides just enough friction to make them easy to use. These reins include two leather slobber straps for attaching to the bit.
These have been a very popular option for many of Steve’s clients who feel that the mecate reins are too much rope to deal with. They also provide a much better “feel” than reins that are made out of yacht braid lead rope material.
