The mouthpiece is shaped to contour naturally over the tongue without poking the palate or pressing down on the bars, making it a very comfortable option for horses who easily cut, bruise, or overreact to rein pressure.
Dee ring sides keep the bit stable in the mouth, preventing it from sliding side to side and helping with straightness and steering. The straight, thinner design also allows the rider’s aids to come through more clearly and precisely.
