Bomber Full Cheek Ultra Comfy Lock Up Snaffle
The Full Cheek cheekpiece will prevent pinching on the sides of the mouth, and the extended pins above and below the bit, firstly prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth and secondly aid guiding the horse’s head which is great for schooling purposes. As with the Eggbutt, the release is slower than the loose ring and also introduces light poll pressure.
The Lock Up snaffle removes the nut cracker action of the conventional snaffle, meaning it will bear less pressure on the horse's bars. The Lock Up is therefore a softer option, than a conventional snaffle, although it still applies tongue and bar pressure when the reins are taken up.
The Ultra Comfy is more ergonomically shaped, offering a generous curve, to follow the shape of the horses mouth. It incorporates the comfy bend to decrease the pinch and nutcracker effect of conventional bit designs and adds a Vertical twist upwards creating some tongue relief.
