What is Nitric Oxide?

Back on Track products can help increase your body’s natural ability to produce Nitric oxide through Far Infrared Therapy. Nitric oxide is a molecule that’s produced naturally by the body, and it’s important for many aspects of your health. As a vasodilator, nitric oxide signals the blood vessels to relax, allowing them to expand. This effect allows blood, nutrients, and oxygen to flow freely to every part of their body. Nitric oxide is involved in many cell processes, including the widening of the blood vessels, or vasodilation. Wider blood vessels help increase the delivery of nutrients and oxygen to working muscles during exercise, thus enhancing exercise performance and recovery.

Nitric Oxide (NO) plays a key role in the functioning of the cardiovascular, immune and nervous systems by helping to maintain normal blood pressure and proper blood flow. In doing so, it ensures ample amounts of oxygen and nutrients are delivered to the organs and muscles to support healthy function.

Far-infrared (FIR) rays can enable multiple energy transfer as deep as 2–3 cm into subcutaneous tissue without irritating or overheating the skin and then accelerate blood flow, leading to an increase in shear stress, followed by an increase in endothelial nitric oxide synthase activity and nitric oxide production. Infrared therapy can help improve circulation of oxygen-rich blood in the body, promoting faster healing of deep tissues and relieving pain.

Therefore, it’s important to achieve and maintain optimal levels of nitric oxide in your body making Back on Track products a great choice.

What are infrared textiles?

Infrared textiles are just that – a textile using technology that recycles infrared and visible light into energy. When placed near the body, this energy is redirected back to the body, increasing blood flow and oxygen levels of local body tissues

The increased tissue perfusion of oxygen can help joints and muscles fight stiffness, soreness and swelling caused by aging, injury, or arthritis.

The beneficial effects of the infrared textile have been measured in a series of independent clinical studies. Products containing our Welltex technology were designed to:

~Enhance tissue oxygen levels in the body

~Stimulate quicker recovery and healing

~Heighten strength and athletic performance
