New and Improved LeMieux Arika English Bridle

A classic, good-looking bridle that's comfortable for your horse and easy for you to fit well.

The Arika is made from LeMieux's pre-oiled leather, so it's supple from day one and doesn't need a long break-in period. The headpiece is soft, padded, and shaped to sit comfortably behind the ears, taking pressure off the poll. The cavesson noseband is padded too, so it's kinder on the nose without looking bulky.

Double buckles on both the noseband and throatlatch let you make small, even adjustments on each side. That means a straighter, more balanced fit and no guessing about whether one side is tighter than the other. The padded browband has a contoured shape that frames the face nicely and gives a polished look for the show ring or everyday schooling.

Caring for your bridle
Leather is a natural material, and a little regular care goes a long way. Leaving it dirty or damp, or drying it too fast, can cause it to stiffen and crack.

After each ride: wipe it down with lukewarm water and saddle soap, then let it air dry.

Deep clean: take the bridle apart and clean each piece thoroughly with lukewarm water and a good saddle soap. Let it air dry, then condition with a quality leather balm or oil. Buff the leather and hardware with a soft cloth.

Storage: keep it somewhere cool, clean, and dry.
