KCT Soft Rope Halter

There’s something about picking up a rope halter that feels good in your hand. These ones are soft, supple, and have a nice weight to them. They’re made right here on Vancouver Island by Kaitlin, and you can feel the care that goes into each one.

A rope halter gives clear, light communication, which is why so many people reach for one for horsemanship and groundwork. When you ask for something, your horse feels it through the halter, and when you release, the soft rope releases too. These have enough body to hold their shape and give a clean signal, but they’re gentle enough that they don’t feel stiff or scratchy against your horse’s face. They also work as an everyday halter for leading, grooming, and turnout prep.

We especially like that there’s no metal at the crown's tip. With this halter, you just tie it off, so there’s no hardware to worry about hitting the eye.

• Soft, supple rope with a great feel in the hand
• Good for horsemanship, groundwork, and daily handling
• Tie-off crown with no metal near the eyes
• Available in a variety of sizes
• Handmade locally on Vancouver Island

Not sure which size your horse needs? Bring them by the shop, or send us a message with your horse’s breed and build and what halter size they usually wear. We’d love to help you find a good fit. A halter that sits right is safer and more comfortable for your horse, and it makes your cues clearer too.
